What is Semen

Ejaculated Semen is a mixture of Spermatozoa, Seminal Plasma and other cellular components.

Seminal Plasma is constituted by secretions of  –

• Prostate 
• Epididymis
• Seminal Vesicle 
• Bulbourethral gland

The other cellular components are –

• Germ Line Cells
• Leucocytes of Various types
• Epithelial cells
• Bacteria
• Occasional Red Cells
